Originally featured on the cover of Better Homes and Gardens in 1955 as one of the “Homes for All America,” this stunning mid-century modern home had lost its charm after years as a rental. Nook took on a complete, down-to-the-studs renovation, reimagining the floor plan, adding a bathroom, and moving walls and entrances to breathe new life into this architectural gem. In addition to selecting all exterior paint colors, finishes, fixtures, and furniture, we transformed the front and backyard landscaping, restoring the home’s iconic curb appeal. This project revived a piece of history, blending timeless mid-century design with fresh, modern updates for a vibrant new chapter.
